Is Foodvisor free?
Yes to download and for basic use, no for most of its features. When you sign up, Foodvisor asks you to choose between the free version and a paid subscription. According to the “Is Foodvisor free?” article in its Help Center, the free version lets you track what you eat by logging your meals manually in the food diary.
Everything else belongs to Premium, including the feature that made the app known: taking a photo of your plate to get a nutrition estimate. The app also offers a barcode scanner and food search, but the Help Center does not say whether the scanner is part of the free version.

How much does Foodvisor Premium cost in 2026?
Foodvisor does not publish a single price list. Its Help Center explains that the price shows in the app (Premium or Coach section) or on its website, and that it varies by country, platform (App Store, Google Play or website) and current promotions. Premium is a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, unless you cancel it beforehand.

Before you confirm, check the length of the offer and its renewal date, not just the amount. If several people in your household use an iPhone, the Family plan lets you share Premium with up to 5 members through Apple’s Family Sharing.

On the App Store, Foodvisor is well rated in every country we checked. In the US, it scores 4.6 out of 5 from 18,162 ratings, and in France it reaches the same 4.6 from more than 73,000 ratings.
- Strengths
More support than a simple counter: daily courses, recipes, expert articles with meal plans, summaries and personalized goals. That helps if you want to be guided, not just to count.
- Limitations
Photo analysis, its flagship feature, is Premium-only. There is no computer version: the website is only for managing your subscription. The Family plan only works on iPhone. And the price changes with the country, the platform and the offer shown.

How do you cancel Foodvisor and get a refund?
How you cancel depends on where you subscribed. Be careful: deleting your Foodvisor account does not cancel your subscription. You need to cancel it on the platform you pay through.
- On iPhone or iPad
Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose Foodvisor and tap Cancel Subscription.
- On Android
Open Google Play with the right account, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Choose Foodvisor and cancel.
- On the Foodvisor website
If you cannot find the subscription with Apple or Google, you most likely signed up on the website. Log in to your account, click Manage next to your subscription status, then turn off auto-renewal.
Canceling only stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period. Under Foodvisor’s refund policy, you must make a request within 14 days. For an App Store purchase, Apple decides, through Apple Support.
Is Foodvisor Premium worth it?
It depends on what you expect. If you want a complete program, with courses, recipes and menus, Premium brings all of that together in one place, and the free version will only give you a glimpse.
